    Ever so Slight renovation

Well, Edgar put me onto the new tagging program Shoutbox, with which I have replaces Tag board. Hopefully this will be for the better, as of yet I'm not sure. Also, I found a new and more reliable weather forecast service, which is actually based in Australia. Hopefully this will help those of you reliant on Fact of Life for you weather.

For those of you who hadn't yet heard, I unfortunately missed out on the Air Force. Not really surprised. Most of the people I'd spoken to said that its pretty hard to get into, and most people try two or three times before being successful. The psychologist said that I was "competitive" in every one of my tests, except for one where I "bombed out". In this particular test, I was given the silhouette of a plane, and some instructions, whether it rolled 40 degrees left, or nose up 60 degrees or turned right 50 degrees. With these instructions I had to indicate which of the given options was the final orientation of the plane. After having done the test, I did feel pretty shitty about it, so really no surprise in that regard. They did offer however positions as Observer or as Navigator. I actually have no idea what else I want to do, so I'll have to reassess my options and look at what else I have.

Not much else on, except for the imminent departure of Laura, Pip's French exchange student. She will be missed, particularly by John who has enjoyed their long 'chats' on the back seat of his car. But seriously, goodbye to Laura, and hopefully we'll all see you soon.
